Good Morning. After reading your post, I think the first thing you need to do is apply for Medi-caid/food stamps, and quite possibly cash assistance. Since you have no income, I see no reason why you wouldn't qualify. In most states you can down load the application on line. I know if your single the food stamp benefit won't be that much, but the medical is the most important. We recieve health benefits for our children and ourselves. (we also both work, but our employer offered insurance is $$$$) I don't know how it is in other states, but were in Illinois, and it also covers prescriptions, and routine dental care-including fillings etc....
